President Trump took to Twitter this afternoon to rage once again at the “fake news media,” complaining about how magazines and newspapers were filled with “fiction” and slamming all the major news networks – NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN – for being, oddly enough, a worse “place” than newspapers.

The improper grammar use shows that Trump himself could clearly do with some more reading of those dying magazines and newspapers.
Curiously enough, there was no mention of the networks that actually peddle “fake news,” like FOX News and Breitbart, because Trump himself loves having articles that praise him printed out and condensed into bullet points.
The journalism being done by NBC, CNN, CBS, and ABC is historic stuff – it just so happens to be against Trump, which is why the President rails against it so forcefully.
It’s unclear at this point what, if anything, set the president off – waging war on the media is his go-to response to any kind of trouble these days, and since he can’t seem to go a single day without provoking some new crisis or public feud, the cries of fake news ring out nearly every day.
But each time he complains about “fake news,” his cries ring even more hollow. He won’t be able to hide behind attacks on the media forever.
