One of the many ways Russian operatives helped Donald Trump gain political support during the 2016 presidential campaign was through various forms of online propaganda. All of which were basically aimed at inflaming the emotions of the often-volatile conservative voter through a series of false claims and dishonest rhetoric. Of these many avenues used online to aide Donald Trump’s run for the Presidency, was social media. Something that Donald, himself, is quite the fan of – and that’s putting it lightly.
While Robert Mueller and his brilliant team of investigators over at the FBI are continuing to close in on Donald Trump, other members of Congress are noticing certain things that could potentially be overlooked in the myriad of evidence proving Donald Trump’s guilt. One lawmaker, Senator Diane Feinstein from California, recently made a formal request to interview the White House social media director about his potential involvement with Russian operatives during the 2016 election.
In an official letter demanding the interview, Senator Feinstein wrote, “Given your role on the campaign and in the White House, we believe that you have information that would assist the Committee in its investigation related to the 2016 presidential election and the dismissal of Director Comey. Accordingly, we are writing to request documents and to schedule an interview with you in January 2018.”
We’re not sure if any solid evidence will come from this, but it’s still encouraging to see our elected officials looking for any evidence they can to bring Donald J. Trump down.
The American people deserve a leader with experience and compassion. Not one with a raging Twitter habit and the pettiness of a spoiled brat. All of these characteristics (and more) are reason enough for Congress to step up and remove this monster from office – as soon as possible!
