In a move as predictable as it was classless, Kellyanne Conway reached new depths by taking an unprovoked swipe at Hillary Clinton in front of children, reports The Hill.
At today’s annual White House Easter egg roll, the president’s senior counselor reminded America of the extent to which she is willing to embrace her villainous persona.
“Do you know who lives there?” Conway asked the children in attendance, pointing to the White House. “You? Maybe one day.”
“Girls, we left open the first female president of the United States job, if you want it,” she said.
Her comment is especially disingenuous given Conway’s driver’s seat role in the most divisive, sexist, and baseless campaign against the first female nominee for president in American history.
The remark is only the latest in a longstanding obsession in Trump’s White House with attacking Secretary Clinton more than a year into his presidency. Rather than govern, the president has a proclivity to simply hurl insults at the first female nominee of a major party that so energized his base during the campaign.
If America does elect its first female president, it will be despite the best efforts of deceitful and dishonest misogynist like Kellyanne Conway.
