A photograph of former Vice President Joe Biden showing unbridled compassion to a homeless man in Washington, D.C. is officially breaking the internet.
The photograph recently shared to Facebook has already received more than 124,000 reactions and nearly 90,000 shares as of Sunday morning.
According to Politico, a source claimed that the photo was of Biden outside a Georgetown movie theater talking with a homeless man.
Biden was attending a movie with his granddaughter at the theater, according to Politico.
A report earlier this month suggested Biden is inching closer to a 2020 run for president.
Close aids explained to Politico that they are currently prepping for a number of scenarios ahead of a possible campaign declaration.
Politico confirmed that Biden’s inner circle is prepping for several 2020 scenarios, including Biden declaring his candidacy soon enough to set the field of opponents around him or late enough to avoid the first two contests in Iowa and New Hampshire. Another option could be running on the idea of a one-term presidency.
The former vice president is “thinking through a million unconventional options, because there is an acknowledgment that this could be an unconventional campaign,” one person close to the discussions explained.
Former President Barack Obama is also now in talks with Netflix to produce a series of shows, including some which focus on inspirational stories.
Obama and former first lady Michele Obama are discussing the possibly of receiving compensation for creating exclusive content for the streaming service, The New York Times reports.
“President and Mrs. Obama have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire,” Eric Schultz, a senior adviser to the former president, told the Times.
